Styling help needed
The Mozilla XForms Project seriously needs some styling help. Just take a look at our samples… so if there’s anybody out there interested in helping us with designing a better look, at least for some of our samples I would be very happy. Looks and eye-candy sells.
It will give anyone interested a look into XForms, and styling credits of course. That’s all I can offer :)
We also need some more samples and possibly a step-by-step description of some of them, or at least some good inline comments. I’m working on that part.
Please contact me if you are interested.
Are you looking strictly for css styling or also some xbl enhanced versions as well? My schedule isn’t great, but I may be able to help with one or two of them. Preferences for which one you want tackled most? -woo
Are you asking for help creating some better looking samples or are you also thinking about improving the look of the XForms project website itself?
It sure would be nice to have a tutorial section of the website, which I might be interested in contributing to. Particularly turoials dealing with css and xforms. Where would I submit donated xform samples/tutorials?
But first, when will the FF 1.5.0.3 XForms update be available? Or do I just need to reinstall the XForms extention?
woo: I was mostly looking for css styling of the example, but every addition would be appreciated :) Somebody already volunteered for a couple of them. I’ll send you an email with one sample.
mawrya: Well, I’m open to any improvement :) But a tutorial section with a run-through of one of the samples (or a new one) is much needed. If you would like to help with that would be great!
It should go to MDC, so just edit: http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Sandbox:XForms_Tutorial For samples, just email them to me.
Ooops, about 1.5.0.3: We’ll probably move to use addons.mozilla.org, and the XPIs you can find there works: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/824/
